The Music Conservatory of Westchester recently kicked-off plans for their ninth annual Golf & Tennis Classic with a committee gathering. This year’s event, honoring John and Patricia Bottomley (of Rye), will take place on Monday, June 28, 2010 at the Whippoorwill Club in Armonk, NY. Last year, fifty-seven golfers teed off and eight tennis players took the court, raising $60,000 for Conservatory scholarships and tuition assistance. The Golf & Tennis Classic is the Conservatory’s largest fundraising event. The event is co-chaired by Rodd Berro (Events), Patricia Bottomley (Auction), Harry Bright (Sponsorship), Lisa Deutsch (Honoree), Terry J.
Feldman (Dinner), Laurence Keiser (Golf), Lee Lasberg (Golf), and George Drapeau (Sponsorship).
The Conservatory’s Golf & Tennis Classic is open to all by advance reservation. In addition to a beautiful day of golf or tennis, the event includes a barbecue lunch, cocktail reception, live auction, dinner, and awards ceremony.
