Former professional football player turned opera singer Lawrence Harris (right) gave a rousing performance at Music Conservatory of Westchester’s (MCW) recent American Composers’ Recital. Harris was joined onstage by MCW ‘s renowned cellist Adriana Pera (far left) and Harris’ wife, Renee Guerrero, who teaches piano at MCW. The next composer’s showcase will be held on Friday, March 2 and will feature the music of Michael Zeiger on piano, Stefani Starin on flute, and Alyssa Reit on harp.
